The food was ordinary, the view however was breathtaking, and this compensated for the food, which was my choice.     ... and the quality of entertainment was very good. We were kept entranced for many hours. We could easily slip into "Freo" mode and the street art is just gorgeous. After Perth we headed down the coast to Rockingham. My brother Tony used to work there many many years ago. The community is proud of there town and it is kept very well.     ... of koalas in the trees before heading back via Dan Murphy's cathedral of beer and wine to stock up on the Boag's.
    Afetrnoon spent watching Geelong beat Hawthorn, dip in the pool for A then a walk in the late afternoon sun down to the Ocean Reef boat harbour. This is due for development also into a large marina that will extend through the bush as far as number 71 - amazing they can eat up so much countryside.

    Monday was a public holiday in Australia, so I met up with Valentina, a friend I met in Canada 10 years ago, and we set off for a day in the Swan valley. It's predominantly a wine growing region just outside Perth, but as well as the wineries they also have various breweries, distilleries and food outlets.
