        the hot water system is a no go, so we break out the camping shower and put that up in our bathroom. works a treat.

        ... load up the photos and have a cup of tea! A three hour nap later (jet lag definitely hasn't been overcome) our first real meal in the apartment needed cooking. We decided not to go out to eat as it was pretty stormy outside. Barbecue chickens skewers, onion, garlic and mozzarella salad with chips was on the menu and was very tasty.         ... we saw some sea otters and grabbed some yummy street food for the final time in South East Asia. The next day consisted of another seriously long train journey which took us all the way through Malaysia and into Singapore. Cheerful certainly, but cheap it is not! We spent a night in a backpacker dorm for the first time in the entire trip in order to save a few pennies to visit Singapore zoo the next day.
