Have been busy with family so missed a blog. Drove from Guttenberg to Clintonville via Lacrosse on Friday. La Crosse is on the Mississippi and is a very beautiful town. went to Grandad Bluff where we overlooked the town and river. Lovely drive from there to our relatives. We carried on thru Wisconsin but on the spur of a moment we decided to make a little detour north, to the Smoky Hills. Michelle found a State Forrest that sounded interesting. This whole area is covered with many Lakes large and small, but one hardly travels for a couple of miles without seeing water.
