Grand Teton
Grand Tetons & Yellowstone
The Tetons were great, but not as nice as Estes Park. The main reason we went here was to see some moose. When I was at Yellowstone in the 70's I saw moose off the side of the road, but now that wolves have been reintroduced to Yellowstone (in the 90's), the moose have gone down in population because they aren't herd animals like elk and a cow and …
Familiar faces, Love and Laughter
WoW! Where to begin...sooo many emotions! After we were dropped off at our half-way point, not even 20 minutes later Chris' grandparents show up. I can't tell you how happy and excited we were to see them! After we chit-chatted we put all of our gear in their car in hopes to make the ride a bit easier. The next 30 miles were hard but a lot easier …
Day 4 - Yellowstone Park
After a very late start today we managed to reach our hotel on the west entrance of Yellowstone Park. Again we had a lovely bright sunny day, and driving just outside of Yellowstone was just as scenic and peace full, Hardly any traffic at all.
The very small town which is located at the west entrance of Yellowstone was like a ghost town!< …
The mother of all National Parks
... ve stayed for longer. On Friday we had a bit of a look around town, did some shopping and then hit the road. We drove through Grand Teton National Park, which was a beautiful drive. Not a lot of wildlife around though, which was unfortunate, but it was still really pretty. Then we hit the mother lode-Yellowstone National Park, the world's first national park, and I'm betting probably the biggest, that place is enormous. The ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Comfort Inn West Yellowstone
Nice
This hotel was clean and had friendly staff. I was in a room with 5 people, i thought the room had alot of space. Wireless internet worked well once we called for the pass word. I would stay there again.
Hard to beat
My family and I have stayed at the West Yellowstone Comfort Inn twice, in summer of 2003 and summer of 2005. The rooms and staff are always top notch and I would recommend it to anyone.
Great place to stay in West Yellowstone
We had two non-smoking rooms which were large and very clean. The staff was courteous and friendly. The pool and hot tub were also nice. A variety of foods were offered for breakfast, enough for everyone in both families to have something the liked. The cookies and hot soups offered in the lobby in the afternoons were also a welcome treat after spending the day outside playining in the snow.
We would definintely stay here again!
Comfort Inn "Friendly staff & Great Accomodations"
We booked a group & needed 8 rooms. The staff was very accomodating and let us use the breakfast room for getting together at night. The pool and hot tub were great, but the afternoon soup and cookies were perfect. Great selection for continental breakfast & clean rooms a must. We were very pleased. Visit here for Snowmobiling country !!!!!
Family suite was a bit small but I'm being picky
Like most comfort inns-not much to look at from the outside but inside it was clean, friendly with a very good indoor pool. Easy to find as it is on the edge of the town. Our family suite was a room with 2 Queen beds with an adjoining room with a queen bed with no window. It was therefore a bit dark during the day. We stayed for 4 nights so on the days we did stay in and read/relax it was a bit claustrophobic. But !!!! It was good-standard comfort inn breakfast. Overall a very good hotel. West Yellowstone is great - not far from the best sites. Go to the Timberline Cafe you won't be sorry. Once we found it we couldn't keep away. DG
Highly Recommended
Though not as near to the centre of town as some of the other motels, it was clean, tidy, and excellent value for money - the breakfast being a bonus. A great place for a stopover when visiting Yellowstone NP.
Great Hotel - very friendly staff
We stayed at this Comfort Inn for 2 nights on July 30 and 31, 2004. When I check into a hotel, one of the first things I do is make sure my room is cleaned to my standards. This one failed since the blanket had something stiff all over it and the sheets had hair on them. However, I called the front desk and explained the situation and asked for a clean blanket and sheets. Within 20 minutes someone was at our door with the requested items. She was very apologetic that things were not right and quickly changed the sheets and blanket. The rest of the room was very clean. The next night we had to change rooms because the one we were in was not available for 2 nights. Our room on the 31st was very clean. The staff at this Comfort Inn is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
Just Right
We stayed here for 2 nights recently (May 2004) between other more "exclusive" lodges (both of which were awesome). While this Comfort Inn did not have the dramatic view of the others, it was much more inexpensive as well. And it was just right. Big and clean room, friendly staff, great location. The complimentary continental breakfast is a nice plus. Highly recommended!
Awesome, among the best anywhere
We stayed here for three nights in March, 2004. The Comfort Inn is awesome. Our room, with two queens and a foldout sofa, was huge, and one of the most comfortable rooms I've stayed in at any price. It had a small fridge and a microwave. The hotel is very clean and well-managed.
I have absolutely no complaints, and will stay here again. The continental breakfast was better than average, with lots of choices.
They had coffee in the lobby and even hot soup and/or cookies in the afternoons and evenings. We visited for cross country skiing and racing. It was easy to just walk across the street, strap on the skis, and ski the snowmobile trail a short distance to the Rendesvoux trail system. They set up sawhorses and an extension cord outside the front door for ski waxing. The pool was a bit larger than your average hotel pool, and the hot tub was nice and hot with good jets.
GREAT-Very Clean
My family checked into the Comfort Inn in West Yellowstone, Montana on August 20th for 3 nights. We were greeted by a friendly front desk staff willing and wanting to answer all of our questions about the area. When we got to our room it was spotless, probably the cleanest we have ever been in. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Our kids loved the large heated indoor pool and spa. Every morning they served a complimentary continental breakfast which offered many choices. Wonderful to get us started on our long days in Yellowstone. The Comfort Inn made our trip memorable. We will definately stay there again on our next trip to Yellowstone.
