... Thailand, and renting a private villa in Phuket. After they leave after those two weeks, I plan on making my way to Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, and Malaysia, and I plan on doing this in typical backpacker style-- staying at hostels, traveling by bus and train, and living out of a large backpack. This picture is one of my favorites. Susan, the teacher at the Kawaida preschool, loves these little ones so much, and my heart was touched by her caring, humble heart. I want so much for these children to have a future, and plan to do whatever I can to help. ... farms. They eventually married and somehow arrived at buying the abandoned property. Tony was an agriculture major but expressed the difficulty of figuring out how to run a business. Within 3 years he started a co-op that grew to 40 farms shipping to DC. An amazing feat. He said there was a clear booming trend and interest in organics over the past years which has been good for them. Clouds started to move in. I'm exhausted.

... service rep called back and reported Trafalgar had chartered a 55 passenger bus to get our group of 20 home. We again had to take our luggage for a long walk to the landside pickup area. Char negotiated with those not part of our group to pick up the entire tips for the drivers in exchange for the bus ride.
