    ... offered few, if any, rest stops on major highways and very few scenic overlooks. Neither were there any mile markers, leaving us to wonder exactly where we were sometimes......

    We loved Canadian Walmarts - they offered great free wifi - to date, we haven't found free wifi at any US Walmarts.

    The Canadians we met seemed pretty happy with their lives and all took pride in being Canadian.

    ... as we crossed into Maryland. We finally had a Cracker Barrell experience today at lunch. I had crusty grilled trout with lemon, sweet potatoes, crunchy broccoli and moist flaky buttermilk tea biscuits slathered with lots of butter. Yummy!     ... t "win" the "battle". I might be small, but I can pack away a few plate fulls....and then a few more plate fulls after reaching my "comfortably full" feeling.     ... and glad to see us. He was only expecting Gabrielle and Cheyenne. On Steve's recommendation we had lunch at Bert's Diner in Palmerton.     ... with the Black Snake, we had to walk .2 miles down the hill, to fill up with water - and of course, after walking back to the trail, ......we go less then a quater of a mile.....and a small stream right at the trail (this happens a lot, but the one time you do not go down hill to get the water......no water for the next 8 miles!!).
