... As we got closer to our destination the traffic was getting heavier and heavier on the freeway and seeing that most of the way it was 6 to 8 lanes wide it was slow going .... Well when I say slow going that was wishful because no one drives slow in the USA. Miss GPS was going berserk but Kevin was going slower than our counterparts. We eventually turned off the freeway into the suburban streets of Long Beach. We have rented a house here for 5 ...

... We succumb to one little nap so we could stay up to do the LA night highlights tour. That's when the craziness began! The driver must have thought we was on the track rather then a highlights tour, as he drove like a bat out of hell! Pointing out sights as we literally zoomed past not seeing them at all! A couple of close calls in the traffic we finally made it to Hollywood BLVD to see the sights ...

... and getting some snacks for our day in Disneyland tomorrow. Dinner tonight was at Mimi's Cafe next door which was great - the usual huge portions and reasonable prices - makes you realise how expensive Sydney is!

We watch a bit of the LA Kings v New York Rangers ice hockey game before crashing - a very busy 1st day!
