It was so nice to wake up and have a bathroom close by instead of trapsing through a campground to the washroom! After Face Timing with Grandma we caught the 10 am shuttle into town and went directly to the Parks Canada "Fortifications of Quebec". Wow, such a cool presentation and it's not so well known. After a musket demonstration we had a tour around the artillery grounds and ...

... We visited other notable attractions to numerous to mention and, after four hours of walking up and down hills it was time to head back to the bus. My toe with the bone spur has had enough. We arrived at the ship dock about 230pm. Had lunch and then relaxed and played in the Casino until the evening entertainment commenced at 745pm. After the entertainment it was bedtime. While not as acrobatic as other species, we have spotted several Minke and even the endangered Beluga whales! The coastline has ...

I have a pen (the one I took from the "most photographed" hotel in the world) and papers. I am so glad that I have them to accompany me for the next hour of waiting.
    What am I doing now?
Sitting down at Valcartier- Village vacances, where there're >1000 water games, more than 35 heated waterslides, 2 themed rivers and much more. So why am I still sitting down.

Because I thought it was going to be a sweet picnic along the beach. But, it turned out to be ...

We reserved the smallest car, a Chevy Spark or similar. But when there's only 1 car left, you get what you get. We got a shiny red Dodge Charger with XM radio!

    Charmed life.

We then drove a bit, up Saint Laurent, or The Main, down St. Denis and around old town. Then into downtown looking for a coffee shop that we wouldn't find until we came back later.

    It's 2.5 hour drive to Quebec ...
