    ... be in the hotel's restaurant. Nice meal from an interesting menu that contained a fair share of offal. Lovely table outside under a heater as it is quite cool. Dinner followed by a walk around the old town. This is a really nice place. Not sure you would need much more than a day as the old town seems to be the main attraction and it is quite well contained within the walls.     Saturday was preparation for and boarding Holland America line Veendam a slightly smaller ship than the last and well appointed.     Today was early morning start as we traveled to the Sugar Shack Breakfast and Maple Syrup Tour. Our excursion was at the Erabliere Chemin du Roy Sugar Shack. We enjoyed a typical Quebec breakfast, along with a guided visit and presentation to explain the process of maple extraction. The food was so yummy that I eat as far as my stomach would let it.     What a delight to have a bright sunny day with a cloudless sky. That is what greeted us when we docked in Quebec City.     ... It's so weird that they mix those two together. Viet--> Pho and Rice rolls Bangkok--> Pad Thai and Tom yum... I miss them so much.
