... the dogs go where they want and at their own pace and all you do is lean for cornering and brake when you want them to stop. Was amazing going through the forest for an hour with snow everywhere on the ground and in the tres and continuing to fall whilst being pulled along by the dogs. Matthew had a go at driving but unfortunately didn't weigh enough to be able to break the dogs, they just kept on pulling and his dog team would pass others - the ...

On the way back in the subway, I noticed another interesting thing, the Montreal cars run on a rubber tire system and not on rails like ...

With today being our first real day of exploration on our road trip, we went to bed the night before with great expectations to be jumping out of bed with energy and anticipation by 8/8:30. Well, at least I would be jumping out of bed, and Matthew would be following my lead with slightly less enthusiasm to leave the lumpy bunk beds.

      This was not the case.

Matthew's phone alarm went off at 8am. We decided to snooze it. It went off again. And Again. ...

... scene from Cool Runnings. This was a really long toboggan track made of ice and you had to go down in teams to race the team next to you. All of us laughed from the top until the bottom. Nick and Emily beat Brittany and I.

We also had a chance to taste Beaver Tails and make Taffy. Both were incredibly bad for the waste line, full of sugar but deliciously sweet and tasty.

It was a fairly exhausting day and by the end of it we were ready for bed. Once we got back to ...
