We woke up and got ready to go into Monterrey where Cannery Row is. We walked around some, but since we got there so early most stores weren't open yet. So we went to Starbucks for coffee and sat outside in the sun for a while. Saturday October 26 at sea A beautiful sunny morning. Have a light breakfast then off to Hawaiian Bracelet making class with Liz and Ben. Very enjoyable. We splurged and had the most wonderful lunch at specialty restaurant, The Olympic. Table for two,next to the window looking out into the Pacific Ocean, it was awesome. ... do spot a sign saying "elephant seals", so we pull off into a car park which is fairly busy, as there is a pod of elephant seals lounging around on the nearby beach, with lots of tourists stopping to have a look. The smell is interesting! After we have stretched our legs a bit further, we climb back in the car and keep going.

... and missed most of it. Next we continued to Monterey which was our night accomodation stop. It was an interesting ride and we stopped at the Days Inn Motel and while basic was suitable for our circumstances.
