      We woke up and got ready to go into Monterrey where Cannery Row is. We walked around some, but since we got there so early most stores weren't open yet. So we went to Starbucks for coffee and sat outside in the sun for a while.       ... into my pocket and added what I had to his pile. As i was walking back to my table, he said, "Im not homeless" and I replied, "great! And now you have a few more quarters."       Saturday October 26 at sea A beautiful sunny morning. Have a light breakfast then off to Hawaiian Bracelet making class with Liz and Ben. Very enjoyable. We splurged and had the most wonderful lunch at specialty restaurant, The Olympic. Table for two,next to the window looking out into the Pacific Ocean, it was awesome.       Big, big weekend coming up! … to go along with the last few days!!!!

      Nice, nice three mile walk for me yesterday along Fisherman’s Wharf and in downtown Monterey. Took some photos of the wharf and also, the barking sea lions. (By the way, we can hear the sea lions barking from the house.) During the walk on the wharf, saw some kayakers who stopped to watch some sea lions and birds on a rock near the wharf.
