Nice hotel; reasonable rate; very clean; friendly staff. Picked it for its location right next to hwy 29 heading north to Canada.

We all meet at Parker Lake Park. Steve and Dave riding in Steve's 1930 Town Sedan, Mike and John riding in Mike's 1929 Roadster, Thom and Roger riding in Thom's 1929 Tudor and Art following in his 1954 Olds. My wife and Dave's wife were there to send us off. We had had a couple ...

The countdown is on. Shots are finished, passport arrived, new luggage, camera and we are off. I hope the weather is great as we travel to North Dakota to get on the plane. Traveling north in the winter is always iffy.
I could even pack my bags now if need be. I don't think I will be needing sandals and capri's here with the weekend temps to reach -30 :).

My thanks to a lovely lady, Fran Devine, a women with a great spirit and energy who was staying at Ruwenzori View Guesthouse, for being the first to donate via the web.

          ... annoying.

When we got to Watertown, we sought out the Lake City RV park. The Hussey got us there fine, only to find out that it was full. In looking at the park, I could immediately see why. Most of the sites were under water! So much rain here too, much as you've been receiving in Helena. We found another place in the Woodall's Campground Guide and made ...

We departed Hill City and drove through Pierre, SD. where we crossed the Mississippi River and drove around the State Capitol. We were pleased to see a travel trailer parked along side the Governor's house. The crops in this state are unbelievable! We are used to seeing huge apple orchards, large vineyards, and miles of wheat, but here we have seen ...
