    Great Place to Stay

I have really enjoyed my stay at this hotel so far. It is not the most lavish by any means, but the staff is very friendly (especially Dantise) and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. They offer free breakfast and wifi. All in all, it was exactly what I wanted.

Loved staying at the Comfort Inn! We usually pick Choice Hotels b/c we get points that we can use for our business. This Hotel has all the charm of any Boutique hotel. The entire staff was impressive! They went above and beyond their jobs. We Liked being close to P street restaurants and walking distance to Monuments/Museums.

    Hello readers,

You know those days where you wake up in your warm, comfortable bed and just don’t want to get out of it? Yeah, today was totally one of those days for me. I set an alarm for eight because I didn’t want to end up sleeping all day, but unfortunately, once I turned it off, I went straight back to sleep. So much for …

    Hail from Washington D.C.!

I arrived this morning in Washington D.C., and I have had a total blast so far. The morning didn't necessarily start out so great, as I ended up getting lost trying to find my hotel from the train station, and as a result, ended up walking over two miles instead of the 1.5 it was supposed to be. I'm not exactly …

Today would turn out to be the day that we pack the most site seeing into. WE (all 6 of us) arrived at 9:45 by Amtrak in Union Station. We drug our bags to the Metro Center then caught a train to our stop, then 4 blocks to the Hotel. Fortunately, the Hotel has our rooms ready (EARLY!!!!) Yea! We dropped our bags and took off. First to the National …

... great city with a relaxed, buzzing vibe which allows you to do a lot in the day without realising. The first full day, I was walking around for about 11 hours and it definitely did not feel that long! I am not sure if I would come back to DC however, as i definitely did not enjoy it as much as the other places but i can definitely tick the capital of the United States off my bucket list and that will definitely add to the overall view of America that I will have by the end of this ...

Our final city of the trip, and what better place to end it than the capital of the United States? We took the Megabus to Washington DC and were amazed to learn that our hosts Katie and Joe live just two blocks from the beautiful Capitol building.
As West Wing fans, it's strange walking round the city; every time we saw someone in a suit, we wanted to ask them, "Are ...
