    Great Place to Stay

I have really enjoyed my stay at this hotel so far. It is not the most lavish by any means, but the staff is very friendly (especially Dantise) and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. They offer free breakfast and wifi. All in all, it was exactly what I wanted.

Loved staying at the Comfort Inn! We usually pick Choice Hotels b/c we get points that we can use for our business. This Hotel has all the charm of any Boutique hotel. The entire staff was impressive! They went above and beyond their jobs. We Liked being close to P street restaurants and walking distance to Monuments/Museums.

    Hello readers,

You know those days where you wake up in your warm, comfortable bed and just don’t want to get out of it? Yeah, today was totally one of those days for me. I set an alarm for eight because I didn’t want to end up sleeping all day, but unfortunately, once I turned it off, I went straight back to sleep. So much for …

    Hail from Washington D.C.!

I arrived this morning in Washington D.C., and I have had a total blast so far. The morning didn't necessarily start out so great, as I ended up getting lost trying to find my hotel from the train station, and as a result, ended up walking over two miles instead of the 1.5 it was supposed to be. I'm not exactly …

Today would turn out to be the day that we pack the most site seeing into. WE (all 6 of us) arrived at 9:45 by Amtrak in Union Station. We drug our bags to the Metro Center then caught a train to our stop, then 4 blocks to the Hotel. Fortunately, the Hotel has our rooms ready (EARLY!!!!) Yea! We dropped our bags and took off. First to the National …

... features. As we had only one day we had booked a guided tour and we were met by our guide Eric, a young guy with extensive knowledge of the history of America and Washington in particular. He proved to be very informative, though by the end of the day, we had both had enough of his manner which was rather "know all" and arrogant. Having said that we saw many things and learned so much that would have been impossible without his assistance. He was supported by a driver, a lovely ...

... the Washington monument was the tallest at 555 feet, only problem was that it had loads of scaffolding around it.
The Lincoln memorial was one of my favorite's, there was a park ranger stood by and was supposed to give a talk on the hour every hour, we stood and waited by him but he just wasn't interested, so we didn't learn as much as I'd liked. It was a Friday night I guess so probably wanted to be at home with a beer and a pizza looking at the size of ...
