... are just hoping that the decision to stay here tonight does not bite us in the rear like our decision to stay an extra night in Tyler where it poured down for about 3 hours during the middle of the night.

When we get back from dinner, we will start packing a few things up so we can get out of here before too late in the morning, although the COE park paperwork states check in time is 5 pm. Well we only have about 150 miles to go, so hopefully we can find things to do to take up ...

... until close to time for the fireworks. We were going to sit in front of the coach and watch them, but decided we would not be able to see anything, so we walked around to the campground entrance where we could see better. ... because when we returned "home", the rug was soaked again. We will need to find out where it might be leaking and stuff something in there, from the outside. Before when we've had a leak, it seemed like it was riding the slide rail inside, but we're not absolutely sure. One positive thing about the rain, it sure cooled things down. The temp dropped about 25 degrees during the storm.

Hope you all have a good night's sleep and a good day tomorrow.

... we were just going to leave the car hooked up, but I did not remove the pressure regulator and splitter from the water faucet in Durant, so we had to unhook and make a trip to Walmart (what a shame!!). We were cleaning the front of the coach when a FORETRAVEL Motorhome pulled in next to us. Bob started talking to the guy and found out they were from Beaumont and the guy he was talking to was the driver of the couple who own the motorhome. (la te da!!) They are ...
