The time has come to leave 'The City'. We have had an incredibly busy few days and there is still more we haven't seen. Perhaps for another trip, some time! My overwhelming memories will be the hills, the Victorian and Art Deco houses and architecture, coupled with the laid back atmosphere of this culturally diverse city. The food has been multinational; Italian, Mexican, Hunan ( Southern Chinese), Belgian and American. All delicious!
Today was the day we picked up the car that we'd drive down the west coast in. We got to Alamo at about twenty past 10 and sorted all that out, feeling like we shouldn't be allowed to be taking a car away from them they handed the keys over to us and we went to see what we'd got.
