To call the 110 miles spent riding around MidOhio's 14 corners (with the motorcycle chicane prior to the Keyhole) enlightening would be an understatement. This was a day spent learning the fundamentals of working with the bike to get closer to the full potential of bike, rider, tires and track.

I spent the day with a group in the middle of the novice pack. The first session went well other than some push at the front on the low ...

Race tracks at night when there is no action on track are serene places. All is calm and peaceful, yet there remains a sense that violence will soon be unleashed.

I'm still pretty pumped about the deer, so we all decided that it was best not to travel too much today, we made a pact not to leave Ohio today. That said, we'll be covering a few of the important things here in Harding's home state. First we'll head just north of Marion to Iberia, home of Ohio Central College. Here Harding attended college to attain his Bachelor's of Science Degree. Here He learned to speak publicly as well. He graduated in 1882 at age 17. ...

Big Buck Down On the Ohio Ground!!!

Geez guys, not sure what kind luck you wished on me. . but man. . . it sure did work! I hadn't been sitting in the white oak I had picked for an hour before this dandy walked by. I always knew Ohio was a "big buck state", but now I know firsthand! The cape and antlers are headed to the taxidermist and the meat is on dry ice headed back home. What a morning! I can't wait to see what else the day will ...
