Tuesday 30th August 2005 Today is the day we left Seattle, I'm including it along with a brief stop over in Portland as there isn't much to report and then onto San Francisco. We woke around 9 am so showered and packed our bags. Check out was 11 am so we checked out and decided to get a taxi back to King Street station. There I booked our onward ticket from Portland to San Francisco for tomorrow. We will need to sleep on the train overnight as this is going to be one of our longest journey so...

... he's doing". Previously I think the standard was low :)
I have done a few coaching sessions with local kids and I have also helped out working in the concessions stands on baseball days! Baseball is very long so people need hot dogs and loaded nachos etc ect to keep there eyes open ha ha!
Gary had won a night in "The Paragon Casino" at a silent auction. So one weekend we drove there, it's in Marksville which is 2 hours away. It was like a mini Vegas, it was ...
Hey loyal blog readers,
This is an entry which doesn't need much writing you'll be glad to know. It's mainly about the pictures! It was a lovely day in Louisiana so we decided to take the kids to the zoo ( we really wanted to go, but taking the kids was our cover ).
All in all it was a great day out! It was hot and the kids (myself and Gary) loved it! Enjoy the pictures. Another entry will follow this one :)

Pascagoula to Baton Rouge
Got up early to get a jump on the sunrise and because I really couldn’t get to sleep thanks to the raccoon incident the night before.
Headed down to the banks of the Pascagoula (Singing River), which according to legend, got its name from when the Pascagoula Indians walked hand in hand into the river to take their lives rather than live with the hostile ...
... car. The main reason for the peace offering was Chip, Aled, Gary and Myself hadn't had a goodnight sleep for 2 weeks due to us being completely paranoid about someone getting us or our vehicle during the night.
Saturday we were to leave for Dallas at 12 as we had a meeting about where I would be on my last week of coaching! Denham Springs though had taken it out of me but it was well worth it fun times.

... internet for the episode number to get out of the lock! It was genius! Found out it took chip over an hour to get it sorted me and Gary had topped the prank charts.
One night we had a barbeque and one of the kids found a gigantic beetle and stuck it on Zach's back, he didnt know it was there and us coaches thought it was fake but when it started crawling Zach and all of us went crazy, it was funny as hell. Also that night we all egged one of the host dads ...
Wednesday we made our way back to Denham Springs!
What should of been a 7.5 hour drive was a 8.5 drive because Mapquest, who I hate sent us the country route through New, we werent' best pleased. We chilled on the Wednesday evening and then the next day i went to "Blue Bayou" which is a water park/Theme park. It was a great day even though it reached 104 degrees. I went with a summer camp! We hit all the water rides ...
I left this morning via Greyhound bus and have arrived in Baton Rouge. It gives me a good chance to do some urgent washing which I have just finished now. It's very hot again today and with nothing major around town and some fast food within walking distance, I will just stay around here.
On the bus here I saw my first billboard! Maybe only Dad ...
... Brunet's...the food was spicy, but the service...well, when I asked our waiter what his favorite thing to eat was he replied, "The fettucini." I'm pretty sure that when a group as touristy looking as we were sits down in a restaurant supposedly well-known for its Cajun fare we do not want our waiter to suggest Italian!
The food was good...very spicy and the blackened shrimp was excellent!
