Chuck wanted to see his Uncle Ron and he was going to be at his cabin on Lake Muskelunge. We had no idea where it was or the address but we used the iPad and drove around until we found a sign by the road. So, we surprised them. Had a great Wisconsin dinner with Brats, burgers and fresh apple pie. It was great to see them!

Quite a long drive and pulling the rig uphill but a nice view of the mountain lake - Lake of the Clouds. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful here. Continued on the road south to Wisconsin. Happened upon Bond Falls, also recommended by Bob and Jean. Surprised to find that it was not out of our way. Pulled in ...

Rita, my ghostwriter, has been doing the blog so far, but eventually I will have to take over and I'm now taking the first tentative steps. When I left Scandinavia, WI, on Tuesday, I headed north on highway 13, a delightful trip through fields and woods with the top down. Shortly after Medford I decided to look for a camp to spend the night. I spotted a sign that said Rib Lake ...
