Our true plan was to anchor somewhere along the Wacamaw River up one of the Cypress lined Creeks. Gary spent hours researching and we had up to 7 possible stops. But because of my work we needed good cell service; and after trying all 7 we knew we could not stay in this area.
So Plan H had us in Georgetown, SC for the week.
No complaints. Nice southern town; good food; and we made some friends.

The next day we headed to the coastal town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is one of the talked about beaches with the locals and is popular with fisherman and sun chasers. We stayed at the Myrtle Beach RV Park, which is by far the biggest RV Park we had stayed at, with over 850 sites and its own waterpark and RV shop. A week of beaching, shopping, eating, and hang outs. This area can keep you busy as it is the golf capital along with much more. We ate at Crabby Mike's that has an endless seafood buffet that had good fried shrimp and catfish. Many people loved the crab legs, but that is not a favorite of ours. Damon's has a good lunch selection while you sit and look at the beach with lots of activities.
