Today was a very long 500 mile drive. Just for you Randy, we saw in the distance what looked like a junk yard, but we were not sure. Then when got close to it we could see it was cows, thousands of cows. Shelley looked it up and it was 20,000 cows. Now that is a lot of manure. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1965. It is located on State Highway 101, 7 miles (11 km) east of U.S. Highway 59 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Our daughter, Shawna's great-great grandfather on her dad's side was full blooded Cherokee.

... soda bottle out the front. They advertise that they have over 600 flavours of soda. Thankfully it's Sunday so our drive around Oklahoma City is easy as there is no traffic and we can take slow past the sites. It's a hot one today and most of what we want to see is visible from Harvey so we can stay in his air conditioning. Just down the road a bit is El Reno and an old Fort used by the soldiers during the time when they were fighting ...
