Embarking from our present residence in the Phoenix, Arizona area, we leave Phoenix at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, The first leg is a two-hour lay-over at LAX in Los Angeles and then a 12 hour flight to Tokyo. We land at 4 p.m. Wednesday, the next afternoon.

... Thanks Giving is about. The Black Friday shopping spree starts on Thursday night in some stores and at midnight in others. Mary and her sister went out to a few stores after Thanks Giving lunch and post clean up. I have no idea where they got the stamina from for that type of shopping - nothing could be that good of a deal for me to contend with those types of crowds. Apparently there was security at Walmart (similar to a night club) only letting people in once somebody had left ...
