We figured being in Missouri we needed to stop by Kansas City for some amazing BBQ since the city is known for it!! We stopped at.... We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! We don't think we could eat at another BBQ place again that is how good it was!! After this we drove to a town in the middle of no where (3 hours east of Denver) on I-70 West in Kansas State next to a town called Kanarado (we loved this name) and got a hotel to get some shut ...

Lots of big and little fountains everywhere, really nice buildings and lots of flowers. Nice shops - bought another pullover to keep warm! There were a couple of musicians on the street and a couple of street magicians. Had quite a lazy day and a day of food. By the time ...

It was next to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art which has lovely grounds and outdoor sculptors. The Kepler did too actually. Really nice area. We popped in and got kicked out shortly afterwards as it was late. It was free and pretty cool, so we may go back ...

... Europe (the Marshal Plan), he desegregated the military, dealt with the Korean war and the cold war (including the McCarthy era routing out suspected communists holding key positions). He flew supplies into Berlin when Stalin cut off the city. He did not run for a third term, enabling Eisenhower to become the 34th President. He raised funds to build the Library and museum rather than sell his papers to the highest bidder ...

... Junior Rangers. Then it was time for the trip up the arch. We boarded a tiny tram car, which was a little pod that carried us to the top of the arch. It felt like being in a space capsule. At the top, there were tiny viewing windows with great views of the city. It was a little bit claustrophobic, so we didn't stay too long but headed down the other side of the arch. Our next stop was Ted Drewes Custard in a very different part of St. Louis. Lemon crumb ...
