... or playing fields, they have been green. Springfield Station was quite sparse. There was a waiting room (you'd need it in winter) with toilets and a chocolate vending machine. ... eerie. I love knowing that it is still there and that I will always be a part of that community but I also noticed that I no longer felt that I belonged there all year-round.
Leaving Massachusetts, I finally felt ready to start the next chapter of my life.

Six and 1/2 hour drive...not too bad. we stayed on the American side which is a state park. Lots of walking but we hopped a trolley cuz we got totally lost. Beautiful grounds but lots of construction going on. We were able to get real close to the falls from this side. Canadian side is more manicured and has lots of shops and restaurants. There were fireworks right outside our bedroom window that looked like they were coming right at us. ...
