Historical Traveler Reviews of Comfort Inn & Suites Boston/Airport Revere
Great Value

Possibly the best Comfort Inn out there, the room was large, clean and modern (the hotel was only built in 2000 or something like that). All the facilities you would expect from a good quality hotel: swimming pool, internet, cable, restaurant, bar etc along with helpful cheerful staff.
The hotel is a little way out from the centre of Boston, but this means you get a better room for your money. The location is not really a problem, because it has good transport connections either by car or there is an underground station about 15 minutes walk away.
Expect to pay about $12 for a taxi back to the hotel from the many nightclubs in the city. Be aware that there are quite a few "dodgy" taxi drivers out there who will be looking to overcharge you! It is better to say you are going to "Comfort Inn, Revere Beach".
One final tip, they have got waffle machines on the breakfast buffet, make your own waffles - it is worth the effort, they were great!
Great Price, Comfortable, Free Parking!!!

I stayed here twice, once with my family and the other with friends. Both times was excellent. The staff was warm. The hotel and rooms looked nice and clean. The rooms were comfy. There's a shuttle to take you to the subway station which you can take to heart of Boston, which was ideal. Parking was free, unlike some other hotels that charge you daily. Although pool wasn't the biggest, it was a decent size. The location wasn't the best but it's what's inside that matters. Stayed here after Christimas of 2003, the rates weren't bad. It was $120 for 4 people, which wasn't bad at all. Check-in/Check-out was easy. Overall, if I were to go back to Boston, I'll stay here again. Good price. The staff was very helpful and was pleasant to be around.
So Convenient

Staying at the Comfort Inn really helped lessen travel headaches for me. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and I appreciated the availability of an early morning Continental breakfast. I'm planning to book another reservation there for an upcoming trip.
Great value! Would stay here again.

This hotel is a fantastic deal if you know where to look (several websites that probably buy the rooms in bulk were cheaper than even the official website). I stayed here at the end of April and only spent $68/night for 2 queen beds!
Strengths:
1) Very nice for a 2-star hotel. Lobby was brightly lit and clean. Rooms were spacious. Free internet in the room if you've got a laptop. And good ventilation.
2) Friendly staff. Late check-in was not a problem, and the front desk was more than happy to make small talk, recommend sites/restaurants, and go the extra mile to make the stay pleasant.
3) Deluxe continental breakfast. Do-it-yourself waffles were fantastic. Good assortment (although there's only so much variety one can appreciate for pastries, yogurt and the like!).
4) Shuttle to Airport Station and Logan Airport. Saved a lot of the hassle, and was very frequent.
Weaknesses:
1) Location - still about a 1/2hr away from central Boston, so not the idal hotel if you're planning to stay out to all hours of night.
2) Shuttle - while it's convenient and very frequent, it was a pain to have to call the hotel AT the airport when you're reay for the bus to pick you up. Doesn't seem to maintain a consistent schedule. (Still a good perk though.)
Would absolutely stay here again. Any price under $120/night is well worth it.
Good hotel, bit far away

Me and my boyf stayed at this hotel in March 2004, for 1 week and a half.
Very nice room decor and rooms were spacious, stayed in a smoking room however when we walked in the room was stinking of stale cigarettes. Went to open the windows and there was no way of opening them cos it was just panes of glass.
Eventually got used to it and decided to smoke outside the front entrance of the hotel.
Breakfast was ok, but not exactly catered for the international traveller.
Felt the staff were a tad unfriendly when we checked out as they charged us over $100.00 for a 2 three minute phone calls to the UK.
Hotel is quite a bit away from the centre of boston. The shuttle bus was handy however was very dated. Some of the windows were taped together to hold them on. Not the safest ride I've ever been on.
The big plus point of the hotel was Pacini's restaurant. Very friendly staff and gorgeous food. They also did room service.
I wouldn't stay here again purely because of the location. It's more suited to park and fly travellers, not if you want to spend some quality time in Boston.
Comfort Inn and Suites Logan Airport

My family stayed here for 5 nights and it was a good value base to explore the Boston area. THe suites were cheap but very clean and comfy. The staff were friendly. The swimming pool was lovely and warm, almost like a tub! The hotel is not in the prettiest area and a bit out in the sticks, but they run a free shuttle bus to the subway station at the airport every half an hour 24 hours a day and it is then a short hop and you are right downtown. There is also a restaurant and they will deliver to you room or you can make use of your fridge and the foyer microwave. The complimentary continental breakfast including DIY waffles was enough to set us up for the day!
Excellent Deal

What a great deal. We paid $129 for a night's stay and parking for a week. It would have cost us more just to park our car at the airport and this is so much more convenient. The van drivers were very helpful and the free breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Good, reasonably priced restaurant also!
Clean,comfortable and convenient

This hotel was nearly perfect for a family of five. The rooms were new and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to Boston and many of the other New England sites. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have ever come across and the lobby houses two pc's with complimentary internet service (very handy if you need directions etc..) The only thing that was missing from our suit was a small microwave for the kid's snacks, and the room could be very stuffy at times (no windows that could open). I would stay at this hotel again if I was to return to Boston.

We stayed at this hotel because they had a free shuttle and free parking for up to 8 days! For a rate of $107/night we were able to save on airport parking when we recently went out of town. It was clean, updated, had a nice pool and restaurant on the grounds. Definitely great value for your money!
