... they are only doing the US. From here we headed to a karaoke bar. Considering this is studentville the bars aren't cheap. $8 a pint. It looks like another case of the hostel going to places for the favours and not for the best interests of backpackers. I talked about the rockioke on Van City. Grey said it would be such a great thing, but said he only sings one song at karaoke. Turns out this was a rockioke, and as such they obviously covered Grey's Wonderwall. As is so often ...
... was a little surprised by just how in the city it is (though you don't notice this when you're strolling around the walkways inside the zoo). I'd always seen signs for it off the Pike, so assumed it must be further out from the city. I went in not expecting much -- perhaps like the Como Zoo (though my memories of that are largely faded into nothingness, beyond Sparky). While it is a small zoo and not as nice or ...
This fall I made my first trip to Boston. Being an strong and independent woman (when I have to be), I decided to drive up from DC, and it was surprisingly civilized. The only stressful part was the fuel rationing in New Jersey after Hurricane Sandy, so I had to be strategic about when I filled up. This strategery didn't pan out so well on the way back, but more on that later.
... really remember what we ate during these couple of days but I do remember we paid a trip to the Cheesecake Facotry (my friend Zarina's favourite haunt when she is in Boston) where again I had pasta and then didn't have room for cheesecake......one day I will have the cheesecake!
Nick, George's Dad, is coming to Boston for a holiday, hence our long stay here so we met up with him on Sunday night, obviously George did meet him from the airport the ...
... fitting thing to do, so we made use of our $9 subway pass and got the train to the Public Garden. We ended up having dinner at Cheers.
We even managed to squeeze in a trip to Harvard University, which was cool, although I would like to go back and see it in the daytime and explore it more.
The basketball game was great! We both bought t-shirts and cheered and chanted along with all the fans.…and the Celtics even won! I ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Comfort Inn & Suites Boston/Logan International Airport Revere
Possibly the best Comfort Inn out there, the room was large, clean and modern (the hotel was only built in 2000 or something like that). All the facilities you would expect from a good quality hotel: swimming pool, internet, cable, restaurant, bar etc along with helpful cheerful staff.
Great Price, Comfortable, Free Parking!!!
I stayed here twice, once with my family and the other with friends. Both times was excellent. The staff was warm. The hotel and rooms looked nice and clean. The rooms were comfy. There's a shuttle to take you to the subway station which you can take to heart of Boston, which was ideal. Parking was free, unlike some other hotels that charge you daily. Although pool wasn't the biggest, it was a decent size. The location wasn't the best but it's what's inside that matters. Stayed here after Christimas of 2003, the rates weren't bad. It was $120 for 4 people, which wasn't bad at all. Check-in/Check-out was easy. Overall, if I were to go back to Boston, I'll stay here again. Good price. The staff was very helpful and was pleasant to be around.
Staying at the Comfort Inn really helped lessen travel headaches for me. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable, and I appreciated the availability of an early morning Continental breakfast. I'm planning to book another reservation there for an upcoming trip.
This hotel is a fantastic deal if you know where to look (several websites that probably buy the rooms in bulk were cheaper than even the official website). I stayed here at the end of April and only spent $68/night for 2 queen beds!
Me and my boyf stayed at this hotel in March 2004, for 1 week and a half.
Comfort Inn and Suites Logan Airport
My family stayed here for 5 nights and it was a good value base to explore the Boston area. THe suites were cheap but very clean and comfy. The staff were friendly. The swimming pool was lovely and warm, almost like a tub! The hotel is not in the prettiest area and a bit out in the sticks, but they run a free shuttle bus to the subway station at the airport every half an hour 24 hours a day and it is then a short hop and you are right downtown. There is also a restaurant and they will deliver to you room or you can make use of your fridge and the foyer microwave. The complimentary continental breakfast including DIY waffles was enough to set us up for the day!
What a great deal. We paid $129 for a night's stay and parking for a week. It would have cost us more just to park our car at the airport and this is so much more convenient. The van drivers were very helpful and the free breakfast in the morning was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Good, reasonably priced restaurant also!
Clean,comfortable and convenient
This hotel was nearly perfect for a family of five. The rooms were new and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to Boston and many of the other New England sites. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have ever come across and the lobby houses two pc's with complimentary internet service (very handy if you need directions etc..) The only thing that was missing from our suit was a small microwave for the kid's snacks, and the room could be very stuffy at times (no windows that could open). I would stay at this hotel again if I was to return to Boston.
Great Value, Fun
Great value, great staff, clean new rooms, easy access to the airport.
book direct... you'll get the best deal!
Great place, great price!
We stayed at this hotel because they had a free shuttle and free parking for up to 8 days! For a rate of $107/night we were able to save on airport parking when we recently went out of town. It was clean, updated, had a nice pool and restaurant on the grounds. Definitely great value for your money!
