    Daddy went to work at 5:30am! That sucks...i'm happy i'm not him :-) fred and i woke up at 8:30 and had some breakfast. Ari was playing outside with her friend and we relaxed the whole day!! Today is coutchpotatoday! Later on ari and i drew a pictute for my friend Katrin! Happy birthday Katrin!! We bought some groceries and a big box of coors light at Walmart ...

    ... had set up huge speakers so that when the runners reached the race track, we heard the sounds of an announcer from a past Derby! Super cool!

    Once I finished the race (and yes, it poured rain the entire time), we went for lunch. All in all, a great weekend and a fun race. I'm such a lucky girl to have my coach (Richard) with me for my 8th half marathon. I still can't believe that he's never missed one of my races (7 Marathons and 8 Halfs).

    After all that culture, we had to try some Southern Food. I live in Texas but have not spent a significant amount of time in the American South, which explains why today I tried my first Fried Green Tomato. It was tart!
