We got the car unpacked and then went to my parent's house to pick up Koda. I haven't mentioned anything about my dog, but I have missed her SOOOO MUCH!!! Every time I see another dog (and well, just anytime really), I just miss my little Koda like crazy. I've never been away from her for even ...

... week. I will even admit to having butterflies above and beyond any others I've felt, because the idea of doing something so significant as this without my parents, my siblings and my friends and family, is so strange and unusual as to make other leaps of faith I've made over the years pale in comparison. We're thankful for all the supportive words and wishes we've received so far, and hope that those of you out there who we didn't get a chance to inform individually ...
