After a joyous two wondrous days of resting at the couples resort in Ontario, we woke up early to begin the not so wondrous event of driving for 12 hours.

We returned to Portland and a much-anticipated at Fore Street Restaurant. What a treat! "Locally sourced and crafted with love" is their slogan and they delivered! Named as one of the top 50 restaurants in the US by Gourmet magazine, Fore Street offers an urban rustic atmosphere.

After Portland, we headed up to Lewiston to the Freeport Outlet which was amazing! Think of outlet and factory stores back home where we can buy clothing for like £5 or something...then think of them in America! I got a Ralph Lauren shirt that was suppose to be $70 for $12! How amazing! I also bought some other goodies ...

    Camp Life in Maine USA

In 2013, just after my first year of university I was offered an opportunity to work and teach in the USA at a children's summer camp. You did not get to choose which state you got to go too and like most people I was hoping to be sent somewhere like New York or Washington because in my mind there stood out. However I was sent to Maine which is on the east coast of the USA. To be honest I had not really heard of it before! After doing a bit of ...
