Men ...
Adios Senior Liberdad!
... expected, so we sat down for breakfast at Bread and Cie. 1 artichoke panini, 2 mimosas and $23 later... we were still hungry. While eating, we met a couple named Sue and Rich. They had just recently moved to San Diego and told us about HWY1 and local attractions to see and do. They both had really awesome tattoos and were amazingly friendly, and that's what stuck in our minds.
After breakfast we returned the Jeep to the airport, packed our bikes ...

La visite des musées sera pour une prochaine fois par contre!

Here I go.....
... travel baggie.
My drive down was a little intense. It hit me that this trip is huge in my life. Ive been so busy being so excited that I didn't realize that not only am I going to meet a whole side of a family Ive never met before, my family....I'm spending 3 days solo in NYC without a plan or a care in the world! Suddenly I felt as if I became swallowed up by buildings Ive never even seen! I envision myself ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel Circle / SeaWorld San Diego
Its a motor in...
Well lets just say we were supposed to stay for 6-days and left the very next day. The room had an odor to it and the bed had hair in it... They gave us a refrigerator and it was so dirty I couldnt even stand to open it..... I was not happy at all.....
Good Stay
Nice hotel but definetly a motor inn. Was not what we expected. The room we had, had a full kitchen and a pull down bed (which was comfortable) but we were looking for more room. We checked out early but if you just need a place to sleep, free parking and breakfast this place is great.
Great location! Nice for large families
We stayed here on October 6th, 2004 for three nights. We booked the two room, two bath suite. Which was very nice for me and my husband and our four children(2,4,6,9). The room was clean, but a little dated and the pool looked very nice. Unfortunately, we didn't have any time to try the pool out. The continental breakfast was good. The location was great for Seaworld and the Zoo. The rooms were made up daily, before we got back at night. Very few restaurants within walking distance, your best bet is to eat before you get back to the hotel. I have one complaint, being one of our two keycards didn't work and they didn't seem to care. Other than that, no major problems. Would stay here again.
Excellent Budget Choice
My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Inn for 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed for the first two weeks of September 2004 so it was right after the busy season and labor day. Ample parking, spacious rooms, good daily cleaning, and bonus points on the included breakfast meal which doubled as lunch! For extended stays try to get a room with a kitchen. There is free Internet access to the MSNBC website and many wonderful San Diego cable channels. Make sure to ask for a room with a safe because using the safety deposit boxes in the lobby is a hassle. Staff were very helpful if you are polite and curtious. Great location. Enjoy.
Priced Right, Great Location
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights 8/16-8/19. We took a last minute trip to san diego while vacationing. We wanted to see all the sights downtowns gas lamp, coronado island, s.d zoo, and the beaches. With so much to do in 3days with so little time, we knew we would not spend much time at a hotel. Why spend lots of money on a resort hotel? The comfort inn has a 3 star diamond rating from AAA and the price was right at 120 a night compared to others that were well over 150 a night. The staff was courteous, our rooms were very clean, my 9yr old enjoyed the pool and complimentary continental breakfast every morning and poolside towels. All the sites are less than 15 minutes from the hotel. This gave us enough time to visit all the areas we wanted to see. For site seeing and your on a budget, this is the perfect place to stay. Want to stay in a hotel all day, then pick a resort hotel coronado if you can afford it.
Perfect for families going to Sea World.
We stayed one night in the two room, two bath suite which was very clean and well kept, which is great for large families. The staff was very busy but had time to answer our questions when we called. Make your reservations early as they are almost allways booked up. The pool was clean and stocked with towels even though it was crowded. I would stay there again and recommend it.
Decent Stay
We booked two rooms for 4 days each with two queen beds. They were well kept and comfortable. The beds were decent and firm. The jacuzzi and pool were good and the onsite laundry was convenient. Also conveniently located to OLD Towne San Diego. We enjoyed it
Definately a Motor Inn
This place has been renovated recently, but it seems so busy that they don't do any upkeep of the improvements they have made. The rooms were good, but could have been cleaner - bifold doors off the tracks, top of tv unit and behind bed dirty. The location is great - 10 min to Seaworld and the Zoo, and 5 mins to Old Town(a must see). Fashion Valley Mall 5 mins away(HUGE). Hotel Circle is an arterial road beside the I-8, no convenience stores, just hotels and some generic restaurants. Be prepared for a noisy night with an early wake up of vehicles starting, car alarms etc parked 6 feet from your bed. For the price and location, a good place to stay for a night or two, but definately not for a holiday. The pool was freezing cold, and the hotel is at the base of a big hill, so the pool area is in the shade by 3:00.
Front desk staff friendly and helpful with directions etc.
Very satisfied
We booked 13 rooms for 4 nites, all smoking and had a signed contract 3 months in advance. When the (2) People who booked the trip arrived they had to beg and plead for their own smoking rooms , it seemed like they were holding smoking rooms for walk-ins or something. Other than that the staff at the desk was great. Rooms were spotless and smelled so clean after maids were there. Great location!!!
Great stay
Very nice room, comfortable beds, great spa, good night's rest. Only complaint was the microwave was behind a counter at the breakfast and we could not use it. (We had one in every rrom!) When someone showed up to run it, she was very discourteous. Everyone else at the desk, etc.
was very nice.
