... Getting up at 5am was easier than we thought. Hawaii. We are going to Hawaii. We got the free hotel shuttle to the airport and were one of the first to check in. We had to pay for our new roller bag as carry on luggage and hand luggage were different things apparently. We found the famous Pinks hotdogs which have been in operation in the same location since the 1930's. We were lucky because the line was only about a 45 minute wait, but definitely worth it. We got a chilli dog and a Polish Chicago dog. Brett almost spilt the whole meal on the floor, but managed to only spill some of my burger instead. Most amazing chilli dogs and definitely recommended.
Immigration inspection at 6:30am today in LA. Typically this is an insanely long process with lots of waiting, but this inspection was the fastest I've ever gone through! We got our passports right away and a few minutes later, we were on deck 7 with a short wait for the gangway go-ahead, and Lily* and I were 3rd and 4th in the immigration line. We were quickly back on the ship and grabbed some brekkie together and went to check the tour book to see if we could sign ...
... looks like a cheap car, among the Lamborghini, Bentley, Rolls Royce,
Porsche… so we did a stroll around inside and through the bungalows in the garden…. Looks expensive
And to see some houses a little bit closer we went up and down a few more rows…. Like the towel street where Jay Leno lives, and there are some amazing looking houses.
