Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Room is clean and beds are super comfortable. Exactly like the pictures on the net.

After a late arrival and a hotel upgrade we were ready for our 3 days in Los Angeles. We have plans to shop, eat, see a lakers game and go to Disneyland. Busy busy! First our room, 2 giant comfortable beds in a dark room with no noise and a TV and our own bathroom. Woohoo! It's been a long time of noises, bright dorm living and now it's over, …

We all watched in awe as Ginny took on - and defeated - the largest and scariest roller coaster in the park, California Screamin'. I look around at a sea of happy brown faces, some are so dark brown that they appear black, and others are a shade of milk chocolate. Everyone smiles at me when I catch his or her eye. It was a little quieter beating the work rush hour. Got a tap card which cost $1.50 for a one way trip. Metro red line to hollywood/sunset. Couldn't be bothered to take our rucksacks off so we just sat down with them on. Didn't talk much we were just so tired. And we had our jumpers still on so we were so hot aswell. But with ...

... in search of something to eat, which I found, but I was enjoying the sights so I continued walking, not caring about where I was going because I knew there were plenty of cabs to get me back to the hotel if I happened to get lost. I walked a good six miles or so before stumbling on the Hollywood walk of fame. Hmmm, this was pretty cool. I took a few pics and headed back to the room for the night. It was an eventful day after all.

      Until next time.
