Left Front Royal at 4:45pm to meet Brian & Cleo in Manassas for a bon voyage dinner. At 5:15 we realized Dave left his phone at home. WOW!! Who would have thought Dave would forget his phone, now that's something I would do!!! So back to Front Royal we went in the pouring rain.I love an adventure!! Just finished dinner ! Headed to Shenandoah National Park for some exploration and fun. After visiting the Visitor's Center and getting our passport stamped, we headed to a short 1 mile hike on Lands Run which ends at a falls. Mousse loved to walk in the stream - he had a blast. Sheila and I did well on the first part of the hike since it was downhill. On the way back, we didn't like it much. We also had a lunch ...
... It was also a bit hot so Mousse was dragging. Mostly drinking water and peeing. We got a far as the World War II Memorial before Mousse was ready to go home. So we called it a day and headed back to the car. Mousse crashed in the car all the way back to the coach.
