    ... us have been called "honey" several times by the check in lady who gave us keys to check out the room before we said yes. The first room she told us to look at had not been attended to by housekeeping which was a little disconcerting. She then said we could look at another room which was similar but it was clean, has a fridge and even chairs at the table.

    ... wonder... what sort of monument should there be for those who fought in Civil War? I don't think there needs to be an explanation... nor a deceptive attempt to justify it as a "good cause". Just something like "In memory of those who lost their lives in this tragic war. And the widows and children they left behind"... Actually I don't think this should be the central monument at all.
