... We got about 20 mpg...not bad for all those mountains in WV!

We made it to our first hotel...Days Inn in Orangeburg, SC. It was a nice place and the price was right. We pulled into the hotel lot and saw several vehicles from Ohio. We were pooped...I don't think I have gone to sleep before 10:00 in a long time!

This morning at breakfast, we spoke with a couple who were ...

I had to wash my hands with 409 to get the WD40 ...

... they took me out for Dinner to Myles and Jun Yakitori where we had dinner together.
It was very very good, spring rolls, pickled chicken and chicken with gorgonzola sauce - so delicious!
    Such a nice evening. :-)

Now watching TV with John, updating my status and relaxing on the couch with Casper, the domestic dog who doesn't like to share his sofa. :-)

Have good night Germany, let's see whats going on tomorrow!

    Arrival in Charleston

A travel blog entry by oransch on Aug 01, 2014

It took about 24 hours the day/night before, till I arrived at the home of my guest family.

On the way home, just got the first real American food at the IHOP.
It was great, as the time for a break wasn't given and the lunch we got in the plane was not that ...
