... we were not the last visitors out (or worse, left down there). That would be a very scary experience- being left in a mine. Plus one of the staffers there said they turn off all the lights at night. I was definitely not missing that elevator.

The mine was pretty impressive in size and well worth the long drive outside Wichita.

By the time we left the mine it was dinner time so we headed back to downtown Wichita and stepped into the historic Old Mill ...

... were delayed they were to be in at 1-2pm and it is now 8:30pm MaryJanes new arrival time and we are having a servre thunderstorm, hail 70mph winds.The front desk people will not drive the shuttle to the airport and so I said I wouldn't either. The planes has yet to land, Ramona hasn't taken off from Denver, CO yet so who knows what time they will actually get in and what will happen tomorrow.....Stay tuned in.....for the next day of my journey.....

Today is the last day at home before heading out later tonight to head to OKC. Our flight leaves bright and early at 6am so heading down tonight is the better option.
