    Left this morning, what a beautiful day. Sunshine and no humidity.

    Traveled St Rt 30 west for most of day. Flat and some combining of wheat. Lots of wind farms around Van Wert, Ohio.

    Only around 400 miles today. Not good.

    ... etc but it was well and truly gone - wallet, money, cards, phone (with photos) camera (more photos) new gloves, and fish-cat hat. The flash drive I'd put all the San Fran pics on back at the Copy Place in San Francisco was in the bag too. Thankfully Shell and Rich were extremely gracious and refused to allow this event to ruin my trip; Richard offering to cover me financially until we got home or I got a new card.

    ... entered, we were ready to roll....and we made it all the way to Paw Paw (10 miles!) before we stopped for the first time. The trailer was acting jittery and Tim stopped to check the tires before we got too far down the road. The trailer passed inspection, so we had a quick chat with the camper and asked it to settle down. It complied, and we were able to drive 3 hours without incident. Around 1am (midnight central!) ...
