... The houses remind me so much of the notebook & saw the actual movie theatre that Noah & Allie went to and laid in the road by! We drove down by the waterfront & the houses were insane!!! Massive ones with columns out the front and giant patios. Such a beautiful place! Would love to have stayed longer but we had lunch there at a water front restaurant which was so fresh & tasted so good. Then we wandered through the markets until we had to go ...

... And thanks for coming to visit with us…we loved catching up!

As we said in an earlier post, it's really the friends that you meet throughout your life that makes the journey so fun. Major Laura Taylor is one of those people. We met at RAF Mildenhall while flying KC-135s in England. Thanks Laura for meeting us out in the heat at a playground, so we could let the kids stretch their legs. Tomorrow, more friends and more adventures.

I feel like we have seen so much of our USA civil rights history in the making as we followed much of the trail of Martin Luther ...

... I am 'good' nervous. There is nothing easy about giving up what most of us take for granted on a daily basis in order to let exposure, and experience be the true teacher.

Although I wouldn't change a thing about my upcoming trip....I won't's nerve-racking regardless of how pumped I am. I thought I would list a few songs that have been giving me positive travel vibes while preparing for ...

... up (horrors) and was wearing glasses instead of my contacts wouldn’t matter. Wouldn’t you know we ended up at iHop. Fortunately we didn’t see anyone we knew and the breakfast was fabulous. When we returned the coach was warm as toast no pun intended!

We showered and dressed and took off to buy some things we had planned to purchase in Raleigh and also to look for a sofa. We either looked or shopped all ...
