First day of our trip and pinching ourselves. Will be traveling with our longtime friends Ben and Maureen Judkins for the next couple of months. So I walked the entire neighborhood, looking at homes, docks, fall foliage and the lake. It gave me plenty of time to ponder the odd sign I saw in the ...

... walks on the edge of the canyon and trips through the forest. There were several areas where you could leave the trail and go post up on big rocks right at the edge of the canyon. The views were stunning. Check out the pictures below even though my ****** camera doesn't do the park justice. The trail takes you to the southern edge of the canyon which affords sweeping views of the homes and farms below. It then turned back and looped back through the woods to my campground.
