Today was our last day in Maryland for a while. We celebrated the closing of our Maryland chapter by visiting The Narrows, a seafood restaurant right on the Chesapeake Bay. And I mean right on the bay. We sat out on the deck, and the water was right below us. We enjoyed an overpriced but tasty seafood lunch, and took some pictures out on the wharf. Pictures attached.

Pastor Buie fortified himself in the basement with his--what--62" television to watch Sunday football. We joined him for a little while, then it was time for dinner. We had a wonderful meal--beef, chicken, sweet potato, grilled vegetables, and biscuits. We watched ...

We exchanged stories; she told us about some of the ministries she's involved with. We just chatted like friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. It takes an incredibly social person to do that. She was. Naturally, before we split ways, we exchanged facebook information.
After she left, Kelsey noted "Well, I just realized that I gave my name, my ...
... DE. Same thing! It definitely smelt of dying chickens! Ughh..After the training, we went to the beach again—took more pictures and I ran the beach for about 30 minutes. I truly enjoyed every minute of running on the beach! All my cares went away and I knew I was grateful for everything! We went to eat and had a good evening again…

As we were packing up our show in our second school of the day, Kelsey was telling me that she has missed getting feedback from kids. A lot of adults and administrators have told us that they really enjoy the video, but we haven't heard from any kids in over a week.
No more than ten minutes later, a boy comes up to Kelsey and comments on the video. He said his favorite part was the story of the ex-gang member who got shot ...

The beach at our campsite was just as nice and never crowded. There were two ends open to the public but the rest was just campers.
This part of the vacation was much more relaxing. We spent a lot of time at the beach as the weather was very hot the whole time we were there.
On one of the days we were there we drove to Deleware which is less than a one hour drive. The girls were thrilled. They have ...
We stumbled across this restaurant just because it was the closest place to our hotel "The Coconut Malorie Resort" and were amazed by the food, the extensive wine list (at a GREAT price) and most of all the amazing view! Every night this restaurant times the sunset with a symphony we had too many drinks by this time to remember which one) and the sun goes down on the last note.
Ocean City, Maryland, United States willshellYou know that schedule that I had? The one that I meticulously laid out, drew up on a Rand McNally program, and had AAA commit to paper? It's gone now. It no longer exists. Right now I'm about 300 miles north of my target for yesterday afternoon. So, I'm roughly a day behind schedule. Now I'm pretty glad that I built in a few extra days to my itinerary. So everything basically started going wrong yesterday in Atlantic City (no, I didn't stop to gamble and lose my trip money in ...

I've read numerous travel book, one of the early ones in the motor vehicle is Travels with Charlie by Steinbeck. The country was open then and he had no problem stopping wherever he wanted to, but since then there is a vast industry that has grown up to make money off of travelers and the profits and taxes made from this industry has ...
