Today is the first day that we will visit one of the girls’ namesakes - Auburn, WY. It is going to be a very different drive today as we will be mainly on secondary roads. Auburn is a very small village off the beaten path so no freeways for us today.

... Dan dropped me off at the Jukebox Quilt shop, which was quite small, but I found an interesting Australian print. The shop was right beside a train track and the owner was having a sale, that when you heard the train whistle you could get 40% off a yard of fabric, so I took advantage of that. ... restaurant called Sweet Melissa's. Highly recommend it if you happen to find yourself in Laramie. I had the daily special which was artichoke manicotti with lemon and blueberry sauce. Today's travel concludes in Capulin, NM, a small town near Capulin Volcano National Monument - CLOSED. So, with nothing else to do in town, we check out the campsite washroom, which is stocked with a bible and gun accessories ads.
