DAY 2 - Green River, Wyoming
... Any, we found an old fashioned diner called Jenny's - not up to even Shari’s standards - but respectable. Checked in the Super 8 and after changing rooms once to find a working TV, settled in for a restful afternoon and evening. It is an older building but the rooms are nice and up to the usual Super-8 standards. BTW, the Super 8 last night was one of the best motels ever, Almost perfect in every way. What an eventful day!
... p.h. corner and later huge swathes of forest burned by fires of some ten years ago, that had covered many square miles. The whole road up from Fruita had really been very beautiful. We got to Rock Springs, Wyoming at about 7pm, checked in to a modest Motel 6 and went to Applebee's for dinner from 8.30 - 10.30. We had been in three states today and it had been the best day yet!
