It was an early morning this morning, as we wanted to make an early Coors Brewery tour. As it turned out, the tours started at 10, so we had plenty of time. We parked on the street and caught the shuttle bus, which drove around a bit of Golden, then went to the brewery. It was a self-guided tour, so we just followed the signs and listened to the audio provided. It took about an hour and then we went to the gift shop. Around noon, we headed north on Hwy 25 to ...

... headed back towards rock springs in search of a park to discover the snow had pretty much tripled in the time that we were gone. After speaking to the information centre they directed us to the perfect play ground and wished us well. The park was great and the kids covered them selves In snow and had a blast untill the cold set in and ...

At the station an older mechanic came over and pointed out our tires needed air... and then proceeded to show us how our shocks were in need of replacement and the chassis was rubbing on the brake line! ... need. Another issue we are having right now is the fridge is playing up...we are hoping a full tank of propane should get it up and running again. Otherwise it's tinned food for us for 3 more months. Mmm mmmm. Saw very bold foxes in the city centre with pups - very cute! Driving back out up into the forest/mountains, getting so close to camp when Bessy died suddenly. Turns out we ran out of gas. Lucky we got roadside assistance, however being this far out of ...

... am literally in awe of the magnificent views all the time. A single road cutting a valley in 2 pieces with mountains at the side. No other cars, almost no other sign of civilisation. I drove a lot of those roads here and it keeps impressing me.

Arriving in Jackson at about 2pm we gas up. Then starts the search for the steak restaurant advised to us by someone from the group in Yellowstone (The Gun Barrel Steak & Game House). It is supposed to be ...
