        ... pioneering. David Hallern, Head of the Orwellian sounding Behavioural Insights Team was being interviewed. It is all about persuading people to do the right thing - even if it isn't what they would naturally want to do - e.g. save more, eat the right food, don't drop litter etc. They reported that a "few" supermarkets had moved candy away from the tills in response - just how inaccurate is that?!

        ... and there are laundry facilities available. It always amazes me how much laundry we can accumulate in such a short amount of time! We pulled in about 3:45 which gave the kids time to swim before supper. It was raining slightly but of course it didn't bother them at all. All in all a great day!

        ... Dan dropped me off at the Jukebox Quilt shop, which was quite small, but I found an interesting Australian print. The shop was right beside a train track and the owner was having a sale, that when you heard the train whistle you could get 40% off a yard of fabric, so I took advantage of that. We stopped at Burger King for some lunch then headed to Laramie on hwy 287. We were going to go to the train yard again to watch the trains and take some pictures, but it ...

        ... miles of snow fences along the highways! (Square miles of forests must have been cut to construct these large fences -- reminiscent of the Vatican's forests felled for the scaffolding for the construction of gothic cathedrals in Europe in the Middle Ages.).

        Well, I'm off for another swim in the hotel pool and then to bed. John's working on his email. He says he joins me in thinking of you all with affection and...... even love!
