    Hotel Park Inn

The breakfast in this hotel is on an industrial scale. This hotel looks like it only has guests that stop one night only, so they have a very high turn around of people stopping. The breakfast was ok, good choice of food, we are getting picked up at 0955 for the 5 minute drive to terminal 5. The plane was a Boeing Dreamliner and we had premium economy seats that had ...

One country down....Five to go. We are sad to leave England. It has been a wonderful time. However, we are ready for warmer weather! It is going to be in the mid-80's. Yeah! Dad was born in what was known then as North Rhodesia, and Mumma was born in South Africa. Dad had, what he likes to joke with Mum about, a 'civilised' English upbringing on rural country farm lands and the deepest darkest Exmoor, whereas Mum had no need for shoes until she was about 16 ...

My parents and my brother and his girlfriend, drove me up to Heathrow. It's starting to sink in that now I'm heading into the unknown; other side of the world! Everything is packed, check in goes well as I'm expecting to pay £150 for excess baggage as I've got 13kg of scuba equipment! There was no charge! Hugs and farewells are shared at the start of security checks, and that's it... I'm on my own, off on the ...
