    ... heyday. We see some amazing pieces, including inscriptions from Alexander the Great, and a gold clock crafted like a ship that would sail down the banquet table and light cannon fire as it's grand finale. Massive Persia Obsidian statues as tall as the ceiling flank the entrance to the Persian exhibit. It is all too much for the boys, who are complaining and tired, although Elizabeth could keep going, so we pause for lunch.

    ... the sunset twice within the same day while in Dusseldorf. Observed the first sunset while sitting on the plane before takeoff. After takeoff, the sun rose over the horizon as the plane gained altitude. Moments later the second sunset occurred again while in the air.

    As per usual drove down to Twickenham staying a our favourite free Bed & Breakfast. We went out for dinner to a restaurant called Ask and we had a very good meal, helped in part by Nicola having a 25% off voucher!!! [Reg always likes a bargain ]We went to bed at 11pm.
