All good things come to an end
... funny watching it take off. Apparently called a Beluga Airbus as it looks like the whale. The front or tail section swing around for loading.
Well I am off to have a cool drink before we board our flight to Singapore (may even make it a g&t). We are really looking forward to arriving home. We have had a wonderful time over the past 5 weeks but we are ready to get home.

The time has come
... in France has been everything I wished it to be - the scenery, the people, the food, the wine and a great bed each night. We are so pleased that we decided to stay here and just drive to different areas each day.

Happy wanderings
Our time in France is quickly coming to a close. Tomorrow we will be driving back to Toulouse to return the car before flying out to Singapore for a rest stop.
What a wonderful area we are in. This morning the sun rise was spectacular - streaky colours of red and orange across the sky - wonder if it means weather!!

We are both full of a head cold and today have decided to head west into the mountains and tonight we are off to a local farm for supper. Apparently they grow all that you eat. It is usually either duck or lamb. More about that tomorrow.

The family I stayed with made 3 course meals, helped me extend my french and practiced their English with me. I went for a run in the country side with my girlfriend and visited the city of Toulouse. We didn't stay for long on account of rain. ...
