Before we start our travels in the RV, we have to find a new home for our Toyota Prius. We asked both Lisa and Zack if they wanted the vehicle. Zack is a Jeep man - he didn't want anything to do with the Prius. So Lisa wins and gets ...

    Waiting for our flight

Johnnie and I arrived at the airport and said our goodbyes to family. We made it through check in and security in record time and have lots of time to spare. The terminal is quiet so it wouldn't take much for me to take a nap. I fear that people watching will keep me from sleep though. Right now our flight is on time and it will be late when we arrive in LA for our connector to Brisbane. I can't wait to see ...

So we headed south to Chapel Hill, where we landed at the home of our dear friends, Jim and Heather (and their lovely daughters, Sydney and Leah). Neela had wiggled her tooth so incessantly that she nearly lost her thumb instead. But finally all of that industriousness paid off, and we had a gleefully ...

... for the impromptu band. Wish I'd gotten video, but I was too much into the moment to think about breaking away. It's a memory only. But what a memory.

So much to process from this day. I know I'm forgetting something. But Will continues to surprise. Flirting with pretty girls over breakfast. Singing with a band. And! mastering apps on the iPad -- who knew?!?

One thing's for sure -- our travel will never be homogenized. Hot damn.
