    ... the expansion of the fortification, the final casemates were built in 1644.

    These casemates are referred to as the Gibraltar of the north, Luxembourg was taken over in the 1800s and these casemates were reduced to only 17kms in length! During the 2 world wars these casemates were able to house 35 000 people.

    ... and bread. Tom was trying to figure out what everything was, he pointed to one thing and the baker said it was "Escargot". Instantly we all made faces of confusion and apprehension.     ... despite studying abroad in Europe, I am about to hop on a flight destined for Asia. It started off before finals week in December when I received an e-mail from the Director of the Office of Prestigious Awards at UCF introducing me to the "2014 Tamkang World Forum for Youth Leaders".

    ... it was delicious! Pesto, pine nuts, red pepeprs, and balsamic, Yum! The other students have been very welcoming and as helpful as they can but I am struggling adapting culturally/emotionally and I am struggling connecting to the Internet!
