... Nothing really exciting. East Texas is just your typical southern scenery though the speed limits did seem a bit high. The 2 lane roads were 70 mph and the 4 lane were 75 mph, keep in mind that people have driveways that connect to these roads and there are lots of blind hills and curves. I guess Texans like to live dangerously, and don't like getting speeding tickets, so they set the speed limits high.

... with a couple named Amy & Skipper for awhile but the driving today was exhausting so I retire to my room around 10 PM. When I open the door to my room I am hit with a blast of hot humid air, I turn off the heat and open the window to air out the room. I set my alarm for 0800 to start the drying process in earnest and I hit the hay.

With the overwhelming smell of cow hide, the shimmer from sparkles at every turn, and the loud "clippity clops" on the wooden floor, I immediately know I am out of my comfort zone.
