Day 100 - The Last Adventureless Day

... Nothing really exciting. East Texas is just your typical southern scenery though the speed limits did seem a bit high. The 2 lane roads were 70 mph and the 4 lane were 75 mph, keep in mind that people have driveways that connect to these roads and there are lots of blind hills and curves. I guess Texans like to live dangerously, and don't like getting speeding tickets, so they set the speed limits high.

... with a couple named Amy & Skipper for awhile but the driving today was exhausting so I retire to my room around 10 PM. When I open the door to my room I am hit with a blast of hot humid air, I turn off the heat and open the window to air out the room. I set my alarm for 0800 to start the drying process in earnest and I hit the hay.

If you haven't been to a Texas boot store (like myself), it is quite the sensory experience. With the overwhelming smell of cow hide, the shimmer from sparkles at every turn, and the loud "clippity clops" on the wooden floor, I immediately know I am out of my comfort zone.
