... we'd pumped them up, it kept coming on for one of the tires. So we took it into Les Schwab Tires, a big chain of tire sales/repair shops over here. It turns out there was a nail in the tire, causing a slow leak. ... jump the Snake River Canyon in 1974; the launch site for his Skycycle X-2 is less than two miles west of the falls, on the south rim of the canyon.
The 2 mile road down to the falls had several small waterfalls right by the side of the road. It helped to bring the temperature down a bit. It was worth the time and effort to come out here to view this spectacular site.

... suggested we check out site 32 on top of the "mountain". This was the nicest campsite we have ever had in all our years camping! 360 views of the area and beautiful views of Snake River. The temperature was absolutely perfect mid seventies, no humidity and NO BUGS!!!!!!! A nice bbq dinner, an adult beverage (ok, maybe 2) and sleeping with all the windows open, PRICELESS!!!!!!
