    ... that causes him to uncontrollably fall asleep at inappropriate times. He was turned out of school for regularly falling asleep in class. A local clinic had been able to establish that it was not trypanosomiasis, the sleeping sickness passed on by the tsetse fly. Thankfully there haven’t been any cases of that nasty disease in Rwanda for over a decade. But they did not know what it was.
