[Left] Everyone left for their various duties on Thursday morning, so I ran a few errands and then took myself off to the Indiana State Museum. While there, I ran into this bunch of tough guys: a mastodon in the background, a sheep to the left, some sort of elk to the right, and this scary guy in the front.

... It was nice to have a little browse.
Unfortunately we had just had brekky so we couldn't justify buying the fresh baked goods... the smell made it very tempting!
We went to the movies to see X-men. $8.50... so cheap! The seats in the theatre were so so comfortable! The movie wasn't too bad either. Being a Wed arvo we pretty much had the theatre to ourselves.
Afterwards we played a round of 'Glow in the Dark Mini Golf'. ...
... raining. We spent some time in the spa and then headed to South Tavern next door for dinner. The dinner was possibly the worst of our trip. We were in and out pretty quickly. Approximately 18minutes. We came back to the hotel to watch Game 3 of the NBA finals before going to bed after a busy day.
San Antonio now lead the finals series 2-1. We will be in Miami for game 4 on Thursday. Louise is regretting not bringing her Heat jersey!

It was a lovely, bright morning when I arrived in one of the many parking lots outside the Indianapolis Motor Speedway shortly after 7am where I found thousands already parked, many with the tailgate party well underway. I made my way to the track to soak up the atmosphere and what an atmosphere it was. Slowly but surely the stands began to fill as the traditions were observed from the legends parade to the driver introductions, the singing of "Back home in Indiana" ...
