          ... was a bit dicey as it was pretty shallow but water levels are much higher this year, which gives us a bit more room than the charts indicate.
          Still, I climbed up to the bow to watch for rocks while we tried to navigate in. I was just hoping I could grasp the cables tight enough so that I wouldn't fall in if we did hit bottom. My hands and feet were so cold I had no feeling left!

          ... 4 times now, and had even stopped to ask him for some directions earlier (which he was completely useless in answering). He stopped us though; 'Excuse me- can I help you? How did you get in here? Where are you going?' Yep, confirmed how useless he actually was. He was completely rude, and I was tired (we all were), so I had little time for him, told him we were staying here - showed him the keys in my hand, reminded him we had a conversation earlier and kept walking past him. ...

          ... an interesting cultural experience. For instance, the Quebec French Canada lecture yesterday involved listening to a passionate Francophile singing about nothing in particular, but I closed my eyes and was whisked away to a romantic Montreal. Speaking of which, I should be heading over in less than a month to Montreal for the weekend which is pretty awesome. I’ll keep you updated as interesting things happen.
