... lost another hour yesterday, so we are a tad behind. On the road by 10:38am. Thought about backing into the noisy tent a couple of times... Stopped for a quick bite of lunch at the exit to The Elliot lake. It used to be a great place to stop but now it is so run down. All of the kids loved playing on the paddle board. At one point, we realized Marcos and Jake were heading out to our ...

... so we decided to head in to Kilcoursie Bay. We were due here tomorrow anyway to see our friends and the idea of a hot shower was very inviting, especially to me!
We had a late dinner then all went ashore for showers and a run around on the beach. At this point it was getting late, but we still stayed up to play a round of Battleship. The boys were a team and delighted in beating their ...

We decided to stay put today and just hang out here at Franklin. The forecast was for possible thunderstorms which never materialized. We had a few brief showers but that was it. Other than that it was a gorgeous day. A bit overcast for most of the day which we enjoyed after being in strong sunshine for several days. We are all looking very tanned with a little pink in some spots! At about 4:00 the ...
