So, I have seven days until I leave for Ireland and then Copenhagen. Just wanted to share some thoughts: 1) i'm not looking forward to packing. 2) but i AM looking forward to pulling out and using my pack for the first time in over five years, even if my back isn't. 3) the idea of seeing lydia in such a short period of time kind of makes me feel like christmas is right around the corner. or like im on the brink of some sort of discovery. or like the prettiest day of fall is ...

I leave for Ireland in twelve days. I am staying with my best friend Lydia Atkins for seven days where she is working and living in a community called Ballytobin. Then I'll be home for about two weeks and then Dad and I are heading to San Francisco, California. We are ...

Driving on the track where Southern legends created their legacies was awe-inspiring. Some classic pics in the winner circle saw us leave for the ...

Monday morning - not feeling the most fittest person on the planet.

That has been one big week.

Said our farewells and did our flag swap - our Aussie flag for a Southern Carolina flag with our new friends.

Packed up and headed towards Atlanta and found this very quiet campground only 1 mile from the I20. It was called Cane 9 Campground and it is dog friendly. Pulled up and caught up on some snooze time.

... house and laundry. On our trip west from New Hampshire, we would stop in areas that peaked our interest or was one of our "must see" destinations and we would stay for a week or more, so it was important that the campground was to our suiting. We stayed at small parks with fewer than 50 sites, and some ginormous parks with over 400. (Trust me, there are parks with upwards of 700 - 800 sites and mega-parks with over ...
