We had a quick look round the local area then spent the rest of the evening finding out what channels we had on the TV and eventually settling on ice hockey.

Really struggled to get up this morning, think my body has reached its maximum vegetable quota from all the soup over the past few days and dinner last night. We left the room at 11 and headed south to the old part of Montreal.

... This time: Laurence and Phillipe, a hilarious, politically incorrect, fantastic combo. Laurence is an actress, and she will soon be appearing in a film screening at the Venice film festival; Philippe is a student, a zen master of sarcasm, and the most ridiculously tall French-Quebecois-man that it has ever been my very good pleasure to meet. Ultimately, we had a great time together (despite the lack of four-course meal awaiting me on my arrival).

... Let's be honest, there was tons of fear. Going back home. At that moment, that was the scariest part of my whole trip. When I was able to make out Montreal from the clouds, when I started recognizing the city scape and the buildings, something inside me just burst and I started crying.
