This morning we left our hotel in Dover, Delaware headed for the coast of Virginia. We stopped in Dover to see the Delaware State Capitol, and other old state buildings before heading out. This morning we left the boardwalk behind and caught a ride to Delaware via the cape may-lewes ferry. Smooth sailing across the mouth of the Delaware bay. Even saw some dolphins. We actually caught the earlier ferry (amazing feat for us!) so with the extra time we decided to drive thru the Delaware beaches that neither of us had been too since our childhood.
