The plan today is to do part of the Helgelandskysten - one of the 18 touristic routes you should know by now - this route follows the coastline from Bodo to somewhere in the south and has 6 ferrys on the route you have to take. To our delight, we got to travel with the kids in their open backed yellow truck which acts as their school bus. I've never seen so many children packed into one place! We learnt much more about the lodge today; it's made of up of children aged 3-15 who have either been orphaned or from disadvantaged backgrounds where their parents can't afford to take care of them at home. ...
