Visiting Harry
We started Day 2 by visiting the Harry Truman Presidential Museum and Library in Independence, MO. I thought the museum was fascinating. It succeeded by telling the story of his life where both my boys and I could relate. An End to a Long Day
We arrived in Kansas City, and then got to our hotel in Independence, MO and checked in. The kids wanted to see the Chiefs and Royals stadiums, so we drove by there and got as close as we could get since the gates were locked.
